I am a bilingual 1st Assistant Director born in Germany and raised in various countries around the world. I moved to the UK to complete my degree before starting off working in the industry as a Runner. Having perfected my tea making skills and gaining invaluable experience on set I was ready to embark on my AD career starting in Children’s TV Drama in 2002.

Being a First Assistant Director is very much in my nature, always striving to be one step ahead of the game, anticipating outcomes and finding solutions to stay on time without compromising the Director’s vision! I enjoy putting schedules together to be able to plan for the most achievable and safest shoot days.

I feel incredibly lucky that I get to do what I love  and hope that this shows in my approach to how I run sets.

More recently, scheduling, time keeping, organisational as well as diplomacy skills have also become an important part of my personal life, wrangling family life with my 2 young daughters, Isabella and Lottie.

My favourite part about my job is the people I get to meet and work with. I am always happy to have a chat about any upcoming projects no matter how big or small.

Stay safe,
